PRESIDENT BUSH VISITS EMBASSY OF PAKISTAN
President George W. Bush paid a visit to the Embassy
in Washington today to express his condolences and support for the people
and Government of Pakistan following the earthquake tragedy.
During the visit the Ambassador briefed President Bush on the latest position
regarding the relief operations. He expressed Pakistan’s gratitude
for the American assistance.
President Bush signed the condolence book and wrote the following:
“Our deepest condolences and prayers are with the good people of
Pakistan. The American people would stand with you as you recover and
build.”
