Ambassador Karamat addresses Global Business Forum

The Ambassador addressed the New York based Global Business Forum in Washington today. The meeting was attended by senior representatives of Shell Oil, BP, Halliburton, PHRMA, Merck, Aramco, Total and US-Pakistan Business Council.

The Ambassador briefed the participants at the meeting on the latest situation in the earthquake relief operations and outlined Pakistan's requirements for help from the private sector in the reconstruction efforts. During the Q&A Session, the Ambassador briefed the participants on Pakistan-US relations, Pakistan-India relations, the War on Terror and domestic reform issue.
