Ambassador Karamat visits College of William & Mary,
Williamsburg, Virginia
The Ambassador visited Williamsburg, Virginia on November 20, 2005. He
addressed a gathering at the renowned College of William & Mary. He
was welcomed by the President of the College, Mr. Gene Nichol and also
by former Director Policy Planning at the State Department, Mr. Mitchell
Reiss, currently Vice Provost for International Affairs at the College.
The audience included senior academics, faculty members and honor students.
The Ambassador also spoke to students at the Reves Center for International
Studies.
At both events the Ambassador elaborated in detail on
Pakistan-US relations and in particular the help that Pakistan urgently
required for relief and reconstruction following the earthquake.
