Strategic Dialogue under the Pakistan-U.S. Strategic Partnership.

President Pervez Musharraf and President George W. Bush have decided to launch a Strategic Dialogue under the Pakistan-U.S. Strategic Partnership.

The Strategic Dialogue will be held at the level of the Foreign Secretary on the Pakistan side and the Under Secretary of State for Political Affairs on the U.S. side. The Dialogue will provide for consultations on bilateral, regional and global issues of mutual interest. The Strategic Dialogue would strengthen mutual understanding on these issues and foster the process of further broadening and deepening the bilateral relationship.
