Pakistan-U.S. Energy Dialogue

Pakistan and the United States have decided to initiate an Energy Dialogue. Both countries would hold a high-level Energy Meeting that would inaugurate a Energy Working Group. The Working Group would explore ways to meet Pakistan’s growing energy needs and strengthen its energy security. Both sides have agreed to develop public and private collaboration on a broad range of energy sources. At the invitation of the U.S. Government, a high level Pakistani delegation would visit Washington to initiate the Dialogue.
