United States to support establishment of Centre for Entrepreneurship
in Pakistan
The United States has agreed to support the establishment
of a Centre for Entrepreneurship in Pakistan under the Broader Middle
East and North Africa (BMENA) initiative. The Centre will be located at
the Institute of Business Administration (IBA) in Karachi.
The Centre will promote entrepreneurial training and
skills development to young women and men to launch business initiatives
that would generate employment opportunities. The United States will prepare
feasibility study of the Centre. The Centre will work with local and business
institutions to develop modern business education in Pakistan and help
to promote small and medium size enterprises.
