Ambassador Mahmud Ali Durrani presented copies of his Letters of Credence to the Secretary of State Dr. Condoleezza Rice at the State Department on June 08, 2006. Formal presentation of Credentials to President Bush would take place in due course.

The Ambassador and the Secretary of State availed of the opportunity to have a brief overview of relations between Pakistan and the United States and reiterated their commitment to expand bilateral cooperation in diverse areas.
