The Embassy hosted a presentation by Ms. Huma Beg, Managing Director of Serendip Productions on July 27, 2006

Serendip Productions has done a number of projects in Pakistan, one of which was bringing Rohtas Fort to life through a light and sound show. Ms. Beg in her presentation highlighted some of Serendip's work and introduced its global events plan.

On this occasion, Ambassador Mahmud Ali Durrani referred to the rich cultural heritage of Pakistan , and said it was imperative “to promote the reality of Pakistan ”. He commended Huma Beg for true portrayal of the historic Rohtas Fort, and story of Anarkali.

He assured that the Embassy would extend all cooperation for the promotion of such events.

The presentation was attended by a large number of Americans, members of Pakistani community, diplomats and media.
