General Shaukat Sultan has been grossly misquoted in a section of US media today. Let me put the record straight. Pakistan is on the hunt for Osama Bin Laden and his associates. If he is in Pakistan , today or any time later, he will be taken into custody and brought to justice. No amnesty has been granted to Osama Bin Laden. The Pakistan Army is in Waziristan for reasons of national interest and not because of external pressure. The Army will continue to stay in Waziristan for as long as the security situation demands. Pakistan is a full partner with the international community, especially the United States of America , in the War against Terrorism. Our resolve is firm.
