Prime Minister Shaukat Aziz visits New York

The Prime Minister of Pakistan, Mr. Shaukat Aziz, visited New York from 8 to 11 November 2006, to attend the meeting of the UN High Level Panel on System-wide Coherence. The Prime Minister's bilateral engagements included meetings with U.S. policy influentials, overseas Pakistani investors, US investors and corporate leaders as well as address at Princeton University .

The Prime Minister inaugurated the launch of the “Visit Pakistan Year 2007” and addressed a gathering of US-based representatives of Pakistan Muslim League and MQM.

The Prime Minister also had extensive interaction with US electronic and print media in the form of interviews, meetings with editorial boards and panel interviews.
