Following is the text of the message of sympathy and condolences from the President of Pakistan, H.E. General Pervez Musharraf, addressed to His Excellency Mr. George W. Bush, President of the United States of America, over the tragic shooting at Virginia Tech.

Excellency,

On behalf of the Government and people of Pakistan, I wish to express our deep shock and sadness over the tragic shootings at Virginia Tech. The people of Pakistan join the American people in mourning the loss of so many precious lives. We offer our heartfelt sympathies and condolences. Our thoughts and prayers are with the families of the victims at this moment of grief and sorrow.
